Octacosanol has been studied for its effects on improving physical performance and reducing fatigue.
The main policosanols are Octacosanol, Triacontanol, Dotriacontanol, Tetracosanol, Hexacosanol, Tetratriacontanol, Hexatetratriacontanol and Docosanol. Rice is the richest source of Docosanol.
Lecithin is important in the emulsification of nutrients and is rich in phosphatidylcholine, a critical component of cellular membranes.
