Xylitol Reduces Bacteria
Epic products contain xylitol, a natural sugar substitute, proven to reduce cavity-causing bacteria. Cavity causing bacteria thrive in the acidic environment created by white sugar and processed foods widely used today. Xylitol alkalizes the environment in the mouth making it difficult for bacteria to thrive. Fewer bacteria mean fewer cavities. Studies show that as little as 6 grams of xylitol a day, retained in the mouth for at least 10 minutes, can reduce cavities by more than 80%.
Use 6 Grams of Xylitol every day to effectively fight acid-producing bacteria. Epic sweetener and gum make it easy for you to get your 6 grams. We recommend you take 2 grams of xylitol 3 times daily.

Directions for Use:-Xylitol is considered a healthy alternative to sugar and lacks major side effects. In fact, users experience virtually no side effects when using the recommended dosage (usually 6-8 grams) for dental benefits. Some users, however, may experience some initial side effects when first using xylitol in large quantities.
Side Effects:-Up to 15 grams of Xylitol is naturally synthesized in the body as part of the daily metabolism. However some people may experience cramps and diarrhea when they take it INITIALLY. New users should start using Xylitol in small quantities of 5 grams per day for the first week, and step up gradually by 10 grams a day, allowing for the individual's response, thereafter to the full dosage.
Warning:-What Happens to Dogs when they eat Xylitol? While Xylitol does not require insulin for metabolism in humans, Xylitol triggers insulin production in dogs. The excess insulin causes normal blood sugar levels to drop rapidly (hypoglycemia). Clinical signs of Xylitol toxicity include depression, vomiting, imbalance, weakness, or depression. Seizures may result. Xylitol ingestion has also been associated with liver failure in dogs.
What Pet Owners Should Do: While you may think of a Xylitol product as a tasty treat while it is in your mouth, think of it as a pet poison while it is on your counter or in your purse. Always keep products containing Xylitol well out of reach of your pets (preferably in drawers, top pantry shelves, or medicine cabinets). The standard recommendation is never to feed your pet products containing Xylitol.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG XYLITOL OR ANY PRODUCT CONTAINING XYLITOL
